A metamorphosis unfolds down this tapestry, in which a simple spiral evolves into a complex, multi-headed lifeform. A depiction of this creature was discovered on an ancient textile from the Nazca region of Peru. Whereas the original image was singular, it is repeated here as a chain-like continuum. This "chain" refers to the element of space in the space-time model, whereas the time counterpart evolves perpendicularly as steps of evolution. In symbolic mathematics, the relationship of space and time often occur as perpendicular patterns, like the warp and weft of a tapestry.
The background is a richly randomized environment -- as is ours. This randomness begets mutations and thus we have evolution. An unprecedented one hundred and ten unique duotone colors contribute to the visual sensation.
